What's the catch with 'Free for early users'?
No catch! We are currently in an early feedback phase, and as a thank you, all early users will get our Basic Plan for free, forever.
This plan, which will be a $29 one-time purchase for future users, includes all current features like manual tracking and crypto wallet support. We do plan to introduce an optional 'Pro' subscription later for new, advanced features like automatic bank syncing.
Do you connect to my bank accounts?
Not yet, but it's planned! The current version of BYB is 100% focused on mindful, manual entry to help you be fully aware of your spending.

How does crypto tracking work? Is it safe?
Yes, it is 100% safe and read-only. We *never* ask for your private keys or require you to sign a wallet transaction.
You simply provide your public wallet address (e.g., your `0x...` address for ERC20 tokens or your BTC address), and our system automatically watches it. When you buy, sell, or transfer assets, your portfolio updates automatically in the app.
What about other assets, like Solana or stocks?
We're expanding fast! Solana (SOL) is the next blockchain we're integrating for automatic tracking.
We are also working on stock tracking. This feature will likely have you manually enter your buy/sell transactions (e.g., "10 shares of AAPL"), and our app will then automatically track the market value of those holdings for you.
Where is my financial data stored?
Your data is securely stored and encrypted in the cloud (on AWS) with automated backups. This ensures your data is safe and protected, and it allows you to securely access your budget from our app anytime, anywhere.
